Child Care - Special Needs

I am looking for someone to help me care for my special needs daughter, Florence. Florence is 9 years old and attends primary school in Dunedin. She is globally delayed and has some challenges in life, requiring help with day-to-day life tasks (for example, getting ready for school, getting home from school, bathing, dressing and requires supervision eating).
While physically able, Florence has limited verbal communication (but very expressive and engaging!) and takes a bit longer to do the things that we all take for granted. Florence can be described as a happy wee girl, although occasionally gets frustrated. As part of a class exercise her classmates described her as “giggly, funny, beautiful, cheeky, unique, unforgettable, bubbly and awesome”.
I can offer 10-15 hours per week, at $25 per hour. Which shifts you take are up to you but they would be either before school, after school or both. I am looking for someone who is caring, has patience and a good amount of empathy. An interest in child development, or experience with special needs children, would be an advantage.
