As part of our Executive team as Chief People & Corporate Officer, you will have responsibility for the development and successful delivery of this strategy.There are three strategic pillars the business is focused on achieving:Audiences - Deliver exceptional, digital-led content and experience for our viewersRevenue - Be the preferred digital platform for NZ advertisersFuture Business - Realign our operating and cost models with a digital first focus.These strategic pillars are underpinned by our People (Empower our people with digital-first culture and skills) and Technology (Enable the business with digital and data capability) foundationsThe opportunity - Te turangaAs Chief People & Corporate Officer reporting to the CEO, you will be responsible for leading the operational excellence of TVNZ and includes responsibility for:Leading the development of the People Strategy for TVNZ and overseeing the People and Culture function including the transformation change plan to support TVNZ digital first cultureOverseeing the delivery of appropriate and up to date legal advice and managing the legal risk of TVNZOverseeing the development of Corporate Affairs along with the internal and external Communications strategyOwnership of the development of TVNZ's Government Relations strategy alongside the CEO and Board.Supporting the negotiations (non-revenue contracts) and business affairs strategy and execution planLead TVNZ's enterprise business operations (including premises, facilities, business continuity and shared operational services) to improve output and productivity and reduce the cost of operations.What We're Looking For - Ta matou e kimi nei:To be successful in this role, you will need the followingExcellent Business Partnering and coaching skills, experience partnering CEO and Executive teams to drive strategic business outcomesThe ability to operate and lead transformative progress at pace and the ability to openly engage with and collaborate with all parts of TVNZ's business to our Digital + StrategyStrong planning and organising skills - able to deliver accurate results to deadlines.Well-developed analytical and problem-solving skills - ability to think laterally.Excellent writing and communication skills, including verbal communication, and the ability to influence stakeholders.Proven ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in an environment of competing interests and limited resourcesProven leadership skills at an Executive team and demonstrated ability leading large complex teamsOperational experience in or knowledge of at least two of these areas Legal, Corporate Affairs, People & Culture and Operational Business AreasFor a confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact Philly Irvine, Head of Talent Acquisition at TVNZ on mobile 021 564 691 or email ******
