It supplies safe and healthy drinking water, collects and treats wastewater, and ensures the stormwater network is effectively managed.Job ResponsibilitiesReporting to the Chief Executive, this newly created COO position has the overarching responsibilities that include:Delivery of new and replacement capital infrastructureManagement of water and wastewater treatmentCollection and distributionNetwork managementCustomer experienceDriving operational improvements, innovation, and effectiveness across the groupThe COO will lead around 250 staff and will oversee the performance of service delivery contracts.QualificationsYou will be a proven senior leader having led a substantial business unit and be people-centric.
You must be strategic-thinking and be an excellent relationship and engagement developer.
You will have the experience and ability to successfully navigate a period of change and ambiguity, and comfortably contribute strategically, as part of the ELT.
Your background will ideally include working in the infrastructure, utilities, or water services sectors.
