The Bay of Plenty District Health Board (BOPDHB) is a large (revenue >$8500M), diverse organisation responsible for the planning, funding and delivery of health services to the population of the Bay of Plenty. We serve a population of approximately 238,000 spread across a large geographical area, and centred across two hospitals based in Tauranga and Whakatane.

Bay of Plenty District Health Board is seeking a talented and experienced Senior Financial Professional to lead its Finance, Procurement and Supply Chain (FPSC) function.
Reporting to the General Manager Corporate Services, you will be instrumental in providing sound financial management and advice to the GM and the Executive of the DHB as well as informing and influencing decisions at Board level.
We invite applications for the position of Chief Finance Officer from those with degree level qualifications in finance and/or business management, and several years' experience in the full range of financial management functions.

You will be CA (or similar) qualified with at least 10 years' experience - of which at least 2 years will have been in a senior financial role. You will have experience in a mid to large sized business and the confidence to handle both operational and strategic level issues.
