Position Overview: As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our organisation. Reporting directly to the Board of Directors, you will be responsible for providing strategic leadership, driving business growth, and fostering a culture of innovation and excellence along side the Managing Director. As a growing business we are looking for someone with the ability to get in and do whats required as we grow, some days you will be presenting the company in a board room to C level partners, other days visiting a forestry site and speaking to operators, this is the exciting nature of what we do. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement strategic plans to drive business growth and achieve organizational objectives. • Provide visionary leadership to inspire and motivate employees towards excellence. • Cultivate a positive organizational culture that values problem solving, collaboration and continuous improvement. • Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including clients, partners, and international suppliers • Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and ethical behavior in all interactions. • Oversee financial management, ensuring fiscal responsibility and sustainability. • Stay abreast of industry trends, market dynamics, and emerging opportunities to maintain our competitive edge. • Represent the organization at industry events and client interactions to enhance our brand reputation and visibility. Qualifications: • Proven experience as a CEO, or senior management position, preferably in heavy industry (you have experience with the smell of workshop). • Strong strategic planning and execution skills, with a track record of driving business growth and profitability. • Excellent leadership abilities, with the capacity to inspire and motivate teams towards common goals. • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders. • Sound financial acumen and the ability to manage budgets effectively. • Demonstrated commitment to ethical business practices and corporate social responsibility. • Business degree or equivalent experience preferred.
