Pacific Edge, a leading innovator in molecular diagnostics for cancer, is looking for a strategic and forward-thinking Chief Digital Officer (CDO) to lead its global digital operations and accelerate the company's journey in precision diagnostics.

The Role As Chief Digital Officer, you'll lead the company's digital function—overseeing everything from software development and IT infrastructure to data management, CRM reporting, and digital project delivery.
You will report directly to the CEO and play a pivotal role in aligning digital operations with business strategy, enabling scalable, secure, and customer-centric systems across Pacific Edge.
This is a key leadership position that creates the digital foundation upon which both operational systems and external-facing platforms thrive.
You will work closely with other executives to ensure seamless collaboration with our Product Development Group and foster a shared technology environment that supports innovation and regulated delivery.
Key Areas of Focus Digital Strategy & Leadership: Define and execute a 5-year digital roadmap aligned to business goals.
IT & Infrastructure: Lead enterprise-wide systems, cybersecurity, and infrastructure management.
Analytics & Data Management: Deliver real-time, CRM-centric insights and establish a Common Data Model across the business.
Digital Project Execution: Own the delivery of high-value, cross-functional digital projects including EMR integrations, customer portals, and internal systems.
Team & Culture: Develop a high-performing team with a strong culture of accountability, performance, and innovation.
What You'll Bring 10+ years in senior digital leadership roles, ideally within healthcare, diagnostics, or life sciences.
Proven track record in enterprise software development, data systems, and project delivery.
Expertise in regulated environments (ISO 13485 or similar) and cybersecurity best practices.
Experience delivering digital systems in complex, multi-site organisations.
A collaborative, people focused approach Well developed organisation change management skills Strong people leadership, communication skills, and the ability to influence at Board level.
A relevant tertiary qualification in IT, Computer Science, or a related field (postgraduate preferred).
