About The RoleANZ’s Omni Channel Assisted Channels & Authentication team provides ongoing development and integration support for key elements of its customer engagement system as we transition into new ways of providing customer centric solutions. As a Chief Analyst Programmer in ANZ’s Omni Channel Customer Experience, you will have the opportunity to:
Lead development teams “by example” through hands on software development
Design and deliver customised business features to best utilise our Business Automation Platform
Provide input into and help deliver on a road map strategy for improving SDLC and CI/DC pipeline
Provide technical guidance and leadership to other development staff.
Upskill team members on KTA and Intelledox/ SmartIQ specific knowledge (extended training on KTA or SmartIQ will be provided if required)
Provide guidance and support to peers through code reviews, and technical leadership
Work closely with Enterprise & Solutions Architecture teams to ensure application design complies with architectural standards
Establish & maintain constructive working relationships with business representatives & other technical teams
Comfortable with having a very high level of autonomy on technical issues
Be a Technical enabler: explain system issues, assist with problem solving, assist with and critique others designs and develop such technical overview documentation as is necessary
Provide clear leadership and technical guidance to team members, external vendors and other ANZ teams.
Design, construct and support applications to a high level of ongoing maintainability, availability, and continuous integration.
Collaborate closely with other delivery teams and stakeholders, ensuring solutions meet customer expectations and align with ANZ's data strategy.
Promote and contribute to continually improving the team's delivery processes

About YouThis is a key role requiring a highly experienced developer with, ideally, a good understanding of Electronic Document Management solutions (especially Kofax and Smart IQ/Intellidox) and emerging technologies in and around this space. As you will be monitoring and coaching a team of front end and back end developers, you will also be an adept people leader, able to provide strategic guidance as well as technical oversight.
To grow and be successful in this role, you will ideally bring the following:
Minimum 5 years .Net commercial design and development experience within an enterprise scale organisation (preferably Banking & Finance).
At least 2 years of Kofax Total Agility OR Intellidox/ SmartIQ development and integration experience

2 years’ experience in modern electronic forms and document capture/data extraction
At least 2 years in technical leadership roles across a broad technology stack including .Net, Java, Automation and CI/CD
Solid understanding of and experience with enterprise scale databases esp Oracle and SQL Server

Strong background in CI/CD and DevOps
Hands on technical leadership of Scrum/Agile development team
Strong leadership and collaboration skills
The ability to provide thought leadership to influence and develop
Proven problem-solving ability and the ability to work individually as well as within a team environment
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Advantageous skills and experienceA natural curiosity and a desire to learn and share knowledge with others.
Experience working across the software development cycle in an Agile environment.
A good understanding of the QA process and software testing.
Previous experience within financial services.
