Chef - Hbhs

We are looking for a reliable and enthusiastic Chef to work at our school site in Hamilton. Hours of work are on a casual basis (as and when required).

In this position you will be responsible for cooking for approximately 160 boys in the hostel as well as function work. You will be responsible for ensuring the quality of every dish we service! This is a busy and dynamic working environment that requires flexibility and would suit someone who is a team player, able to work under pressure who can maintain a positive attitude and sense of humour.

If you're our perfect candidate you will be a qualified chef who is hard working, with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. You will already have some experience working in a commercial kitchen, and cooking bulk food . Ideally you will hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168). A background in a similar environment would be an advantage but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, customer service and quality.
