We're searching for a talented Chef de Partie to join our exceptional team at Rosewood Matakauri where sophistication, creativity, and excellence are at the heart of everything we do.What you will doPreparing menus in collaboration with colleaguesEnsuring adequacy of supplies at cooking stationsTraining, developing and supporting junior chefsPreparing ingredients that should be frequently available (vegetables, spices etc)Following the guidance of the head or sous chefs and have input in new ways of presentation of dishes.Putting effort in optimising the cooking process with attention to speed and qualityEnforcing strict health and hygiene standardsWhat you will bringMinimum 2 years previous experience as a Chef de Partie, in a similar standard establishmentRelevant culinary / hospitality qualificationsExcellent use of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment and processesAbility to think on your feet as we have many guest requests and menu changes each dayGood time management and the ability to multitaskComprehensive understanding of Health & Safety requirementsWhat we offerWe offer delicious staff lunches and access to our Staff Perks Programme with a wide range of discounts and deals with our suppliers and partners.
