With with our Executive Chef, originally from the South of France who brings with him a wealth of 20+ years' knowledge, experience and flair, this is an opportunity to develop your career with industry experts.
The Role
Reporting to the Executive Chef and Sous Chefs, in this role you will
Run your own section ensuring service is smooth
Train and mentor more junior chefs
Produce personalised, high quality products
Control the pass when required
Assist the Executive Chef with menu preparation, supervising the kitchen in the absence of the Executive and Sous Chefs
Take pride in presentation and standards
Ensure strict stock rotation and ensure food expenditure is kept within cost

What We Are Looking For
If this role interests you and you can demonstrate that you have:
A positive attitude
Previous experience in a similar role
Strong knowledge of Australian Food Safety (NSW)
Trade qualifications
Experience leading a team during service
Advanced communication skills
Ability to maintain high and consistent standards
Flexibility to work a rotating roster including mornings, evenings, weekends and public holidays if needed
Commitment to undertake growth & development with the Sofitel brand and AccorHotels group
