We have partnered with Air New Zealand as one team to create an incomparable lounge experience that people value and remember and as such, we have an exciting opportunity for amazing Casual Chefs to join our workforce within the Auckland Airport Air NZ Lounges.
This key role within the lounge will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting exceptional food, adding to outstanding "surprise and delight" moments for our valued customers. You will be required to work across the Air NZ International, Domestic and Regional lounges. Come be part of a participating team that goes above and beyond for our valued clientele and provides the high levels of service standards expected at all times.
If you're our perfect candidate, you will:
Be hard working, reliable, flexible and able to work in a fast paced kitchen environment
Experience in buffet, Al a carte and interactive cooking
Have excellent understanding of all hygiene, health and food safety practices in a food environment
Demonstrate a passion for food, people, customer service and quality.
Have excellent communication skills
Preferably hold food safety certificates (Unit Standard 167 & 168)
