Chef

At Better Half Kitchen and bar, we are looking for an enthusiastic, creative and fully qualified chef to assist in running the Kitchen for our new and growing business.
We are a newly established family owned restaurant that has a focus of creating an inviting, relaxed dining experience with great atmosphere and awesome food.
An interest in Low & Slow BBQ / Food smoking would be great (but not essential) as this is becoming a big component of our menu
Requirements include:
• It is essential that the applicant has previous proven experience as a chef in a restaurant kitchen.
• Creativity and great culinary imagination
• Leadership skills
• Willingness to work hard and operate in a team structure
• Ability to follow Food Control Plan guidelines and implement any necessary changes
• Basic computer skills with the ability to carry out stock ordering, cost items on the menu and run stock takes (Loaded Reports)
