As part of a nursing restructure, we have developed new positions, creating several opportunities for nursing leaders to join our team!We are looking for an outstandingCharge Nurse Managerfor ourKidz First Emergency Departmentat Middlemore Hospital to:Lead the Kidz First ED into the future
Provide exceptional professional and clinical nursing leadership with a focus on paediatrics
Promote excellence in best practice, and safe, high quality patient and whaanau centred care, resulting in a great patient experience
Continue to grow and develop the Kidz First ED team, supporting and enabling nurses to work to their top of scope
Support and enable the department to meet key performance indicators
In this fast paced environment, as Charge Nurse Manager you will need great interpersonal and communication skills, lots of enthusiasm, be a team player and be very well organised, creating a fantastic working environment where people want to work. Current Annual Practicing Certificate
Minimum 5 years’ experience in Nursing, including paediatrics
Demonstrated expertise in setting standards and managing excellence in practice
