Our new centre based at Chapel Hill is an impressive, purpose-built facility that caters for up to 100 children per day. The indoor and outdoor environments have been designed and customised to capture the imagination of all children to play, learn, develop and grow.
Reporting to the Operations Support Manager, you will be empowered to ensure the effective running and resourcing of the Chapel Hill centre.
You will hold:
Diploma/Advanced Diploma in Children's Services or Bachelor of Education (Early Childhood)
Current QLD Bluecard
Supervisor Certificate
Strong understanding of Regulations/Legislations, plus Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS) essential
Anaphylaxis, Asthma, CPR and First Aid Certificates
Demonstrable experience in efficient rostering and management of Centre KPI's experience
Professional level of written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in managing, leading, inspiring and developing a team of professional educators
Experience in coordinating professional development training for all staff
Strong knowledge of computer skills including Qikkids, CCMS, ISS
Day to day, you will:
Ensure the effective running and resourcing of the centre
Introduce new parents to the centre via tours and orientations
Guide and oversee your centre Educators to best practice
Oversee, mentor and guide quality of classroom curriculums and pedagogical documentation
Ensure immaculate Centre presentation within the internal and external play spaces
Manage the performance of all staff
Recruitment and induction of all new team members
Centre rostering & weekly reporting
Manage ACECQA notifications
Understand and interpret the relevant industry regulations and legislations, including the National Quality Standards and Early Years Learning Framework/My Time our Place
Build and engage with local communities, building relationships and networks
