Centre Business Manager

Management - Schools (Education & Training)Grow Active Balfour Terrace is looking for an experienced Centre Business Manager who can lead the day-to-day operations of our childcare service situated in Christchurch Central. We seek someone to join a collaborative and supportive environment working closely with the Curriculum Lead and Regional Manager.Experience in ECE is not essential as the Curriculum Lead supports and guides curriculum, practices, and daily classroom happenings. However you must have had experience in leading a team and managing an office.An ideal candidate for our Centre Business Manager role will:Have experience in the day-to-day management of a business.Understand how to implement ECE regulations and ECE licensing criteria or a willingness to learn.Understand workplace health and safety, business-related compliance and HRManage financial and occupancy goals and targetsManage day-to-day center operations, including staffing, enrolments, administration, marketing and complianceHave the ability to develop, coach, and lead a teaching team of 16 full-time staff, to deliver exceptional learning opportunities for childrenWork closely and collaboratively with the ECE Curriculum Lead (senior teacher of the service)Have excellent communication, time management, and organisational skills.Be innovative, resilient, committed, passionate, and enthusiastic.Be reliable, and respectful with personal and professional integrity.Be willing to learn and implement our organisation's systems, processes, and policies.Have consistent communication and an ability to grow strong and respectful relationships with staff, children, and whanau.Be welcoming and available to all in this key role.Your application will include the following questions: How many years' experience do you have as a business manager?How many years of people management experience do you have?How much notice are you required to give your current employer?Do you have a current Police Check (Criminal Record Check) for employment?Are you willing to undergo a pre-employment medical check?Report this job advert Don't provide your bank or credit card details when applying for jobs.#J-18808-Ljbffr
