About the role and who we are looking for:
We are looking for an enthusiastic Catering Assistant with "that certain something" to join our site at Tegel, New Plymouth. This is apart-time permanentposition with a minimum of 25 hours rostered across 5 days a week. Extra hours may be available at certain times.
You will be responsible for:
You will be able to deliver quality catering service to our customers or clients on a daily basis. This role requires a pro-active approach to safety and utilisation of all of the safety equipment and procedures provided by Compass Group. In this position, you will be part of our Retail operation at Tegel and your duties may include cash handling, cash register and eftpos operation, as well as some assisting in food preparation.
Ideal skills and experience you will have:
If you're our ideal candidate, then you will have similar experience as a catering assistant for a minimum of 2 years. You will be hard working with a friendly outgoing personality and a 'can do' attitude. Ideally, you will have superior customer service skills and "a smile for miles", but most importantly you will demonstrate a passion for great food, awesome, top quality customer service.
