The Position
We currently have an exciting opportunity for aCatering Assistantthe join in our premium inner city East Brisbane school site. Assisting our Chefs with food prep, functions, barista style coffees and general cleaning this a varied and diverse role.
Due to the activities on site, team members need flexible availability including weekends when required.
This person must possess a blue card to commence in this role.
The Role
Daily duties across Functions and Retail spaces
Food preparation including sandwich making, pizza and other snack style foods
Servery and Function Set Up including pack down at multiple locations on campus

Assist with general kitchen duties under the direction of the Site Manager
Uphold the fantastic customer focus, always creating memorable moments
Taking orders from customers in a friendly and engaging manner

The Person
Bring energy to the job and deliver WOW moments to the highest quality every day
Comparable experience in either schools/boarding houses/cafes (preferred)
POS and Cash Handling experience
Experience with food prep and a basic understanding of kitchen operations including OHS & food safety requirements
Ability to take direction & work unsupervised while being able to think on your feet & go the extra mile
Basic Knife handling skills
