ABOUT THE ORGANISATION
Capital and Coast DHB (CCDHB) is located centrally in Wellington and has the equivalent of around 4,300 full time staff, making us a major employer in the Wellington region. CCDHB operates two hospitals - Wellington Regional Hospital in Newtown and Kenepuru Hospital in Porirua - as well as the Kapiti Health Centre at Paraparaumu. We also operate Te Korowai-Whariki, our mental health campus based at Porirua.
CCDHB provides a range of specialist services including neurosurgery, oncology, neonatal intensive care and community-based services including district nursing, rehabilitation services, social work, alcohol and drug services, and home support services to a population of around 900,000 people.
Wellington is New Zealand's capital city, a cultural and cosmopolitan epicentre renowned for its vibrant cafés, restaurants, international sporting and cultural events set in a beautiful natural harbour. With easy access to vineyards in the Wairarapa and beaches on the Kapiti Coast, there's plenty of opportunity for adventure or simply to relax and unwind.
ABOUT THE ROLE
The role will be responsible for the management of all supply chain masterdata of our Oracle system. This involves setting up and ongoing maintenance of new items, price changes, electronic contracts and blanket agreements, UOM etc. The incumbent will liaise with CCDHB Purchasing, Procurement, Stores as well as suppliers, PHARMAC, NZ HealthPartnerships and other relevant organisations.
DUTIES
All maintenance of the CCDHB purchasing catalogue,
Data accuracy and integrity,
Preparation of detailed product information
Addition of new products,
Changes of existing product information and
Removal of obsolete data.
Captive and input of New Contract Details
Manage the invoice pricing discrepancy process and follow up with suppliers regarding outstanding pricing queries.
Obtain and provide specific Oracle Reports for Procurement, as and when required

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
3-4 years' experience working in a business environment
General business skills
Experience with ERP systems
Good communication skills
Customer focussed
Good time management skills
Organised and process orientated
Able to operate within a team environment.
Articulate and clear English speaking skills.
Ability to communicate with all DHB levels and suppliers.
Analysis and investigative skills.
MS Office - Excel experience
