We have a flexible position available for a Timber Yard Assistant. The job involves: customer assistance deliveries timber machining bagging of landscape supplies yard maintenance Applicants will need to: have good maths and English skills have excellent keyboard skills enjoy dealing with building trade customers Loading of vehicles and truck deliveries means you will need a drivers license, preferably also forklift experience. The job is physical with lots of walking and lifting, so will suit an applicant who enjoys an active lifestyle. As we are open 7 days a week, you will need to be able to work some weekend days .
Some experience with building products and timber would be great, however we can provide on the job training. We offer around 20 hours a week and they can be spread over the 7 days, So we are flexible as to hours to suit timetables etc.
