Casual Swim School Instructor

TSB Pool Complex is looking for an enthusiastic person to provide effective swim tuition to our customers.
We want someone who has a good knowledge of the aquatics function while maintaining a safe and enjoyable atmosphere for our users.
Casual work will be as an on call/as required basis. There will be no set hours.
The Casual Swim School Instructor will be responsible for delivering lessons for primary to intermediate aged school children. The Instructor will enthusiastically encourage and deliver a safe and supportive experience.
The successful candidate will hold at least one of the following:
The ideal person will have an understanding of life-saving methods, including resuscitation and have experience in teaching school groups. A Pool Lifeguard Practicing Certificate and a Swimming pool water treatment certificate would be an advantage. A current NZ drivers licence is necessary.
Applicants for this position should have NZ residency or a valid NZ work permit. An Individual Employment Agreement will be negotiated with the successful applicant.
