Casual Port Work Opportunities

Employing over 1400 staff in 15 ports both here and in Australia, C3 Limited is a market leader in New Zealand's port related product and cargo handling, adding value to our client's businesses by providing solutions to their transport and logistics needs.

Due to internal promotions we are looking to build our pool of casual wharf hands on the local port to meet ongoing demands. The work is manual and involves assisting on the wharf with the loading of logs onto vessels. This is a physical role where you need to be comfortable working outside in all weathers at any hour.

Flexibility around working hours is required as you could be asked to work at any time of the day or night over a 24/7 period including public holidays. Hours will vary from week to week depending on shipping schedules.

Loading vessels is all about good team work and communication and we seek applicants who can demonstrate these skills. No prior experience is necessary as training will be provided as long as you are motivated and keen to learn.
