WHAT TO EXPECT AS A CASUAL EDUCATOR
We are looking for passionate and energetic people to join our team. As a casual educator, you will have the opportunity to work alongside our dedicated teams at over 120+ OSHC programs in WA.
A typical day will include the supervision and monitoring of children, participating in a range of indoor and outdoor activities, preparing healthy eating foods, maintaining a clean and safe environment and supporting the children with tasks as required.
Specifically, we have positions in Inglewood and we are seeking candidates who can be available to work during the following hours:
Before School Care: 7:00 am - 9:00 am
After School Care: 3:00 pm - 6:00 pm
Vacation Care: 7:00 am – 6:00 pm
ABOUT YOU
Play is vital to children's well-being and sense of belonging and forms the basis of who they become in the future. Our ideal team member strongly reflects these qualities.
To be successful you will meet the following criteria:
Valid rights to work in Australia,
Hold a current Working with Children’s Check (WWCC),
You will have easy access to transport and be available a minimum of 2 days per week,
Most importantly, a motivation to work with school-aged children and participate in fun and engaging ‘learn through play’ activities.
Holding a completed qualification from the below list will be considered highly advantageous:
Certificate IV in Outside School Hours Care
Certificate lV in Education Support
Diploma of Children's Services (Early Childhood Education and Care)
Diploma of School Age Education and Care
Degree or diploma in education, recreation, sport science, leisure studies, social and behavioural science or nursing
