House Call Doctor provides Queenslands most trusted after-hours in-home doctor service. Assisting patients right across Brisbane and Queensland, including regional areas. The House Call Doctor Service is wholly Queensland owned and operated. Our aim is to reduce the pressure on hospitals and support GP Clinics in the after-hours, making it easier for Australians to access professional healthcare during the after-hours period.
We are growing strongly in Queensland and seeking to fill this new position.

About the role
Based in Spring Hill, Brisbane
You will be working as a member of the Brisbane operations team, playing a key role in supporting our team of after-hours doctors whilst on shift, to ensure we maintain our high quality of service.
You will be responsible for allocating patient bookings to the team of doctors and assisting with the routing of these bookings. Additionally, you will be the main point of contact for the doctors whilst they are on duty, assisting with patient call-backs, doctor liaison and providing general support. You will also aid pharmacies, clinics and other stakeholders with their queries.
Initial and ongoing training and support provided.

Skills and experience
Applicants with the following attributes will be highly regarded.
Previous experience in a dispatching role involving multiple stakeholders
Excellent telephone manner
Ability to manage time efficiently and multi-task
Capable of handling pressure: ability to react to a situation competently, strategically and in a calm manner
Excellent communication and conflict resolution skills
Good understanding of Brisbane, Gold Coast and surrounding suburbs
General proficiency with information technology and systems
Punctual and reliable
Ability to give instruction and constructively take feedback
Previous experience with an after-hours call centre or dispatch role in the medical industry is very highly regarded.
Otherwise, candidates from previous call centre, distribution channel, logistics, or dispatch backgrounds are highly sought after. Excellent candidates from other backgrounds considered
Must be available for evening and/or weekend work

Position will begin as casual with the possibility of leading to a permanent position for the right candidate. Hours of operation are Monday to Friday 6pm-8am, and weekends.
