As a casual support worker, you'll assist with daily tasks like cooking, hospital visits, and medication support, all while empowering our residents to set and achieve personal goals.This is a fantastic chance to make a direct impact while growing alongside experienced staff. With rostered shifts, our casual role offers the flexibility you need to balance work with other commitments.Duties of the role include but are not limited to:Encourage and support Tangata Whaiora connections with Whanau and provide support with appointments around mental and physical health.Working collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders.Ensure key documentation and handovers are accurately recorded.Attend and contribute to team meetings, bringing ideas and updating others on their activities.We are looking for someone who is positive, flexible, vibrant, confident, and compassionate to work in our service. You'll use your non-judgemental attitude and belief to motivate and encourage whanau to realise their potential. You'll have the ability to easily build professional relationships while maintaining strong professional boundaries.To be successful in this role, you will need:NZ Certificate in Health and Wellbeing, Level 4 or be able to demonstrate your current plans to achieve this mandatory requirement.Must be flexible to work around rostered shifts.Demonstrated commitment to recovery values.Advanced communication and interpersonal skills.Eligibility to work in New Zealand.A current full driver's licence.Our team culture is very important to us.
