About the work projects You will be part of Christchurchs largest and most exciting project Metro Sports Facility This project has commenced and is in the early stages of forming the extensive concrete foundations Work with DOKA Acrow and Canzac formwork You will have the opportunity to work large hours up to 60 per week 1 2 day Saturday is required Long term secure work in the heart of Christchurchs CBD with a tried and tested team Skills Experience required Carpenters Formworker Must come with 3 5 years proven experience in Civil and Commercial Carpentry Previous experience with construction projects from ground floor slab to turn key handover Experience with forming shutters columns beams and staircases Working with Doka and timber formwork to create complex insitu structures Previous experience with DOKA Preparatory Systems is essential Must come with full set of power and hand tools Hammerhand Must come with a minimum of 2 years proven experience in carpentry Have had exposure to installing sacrificial formwork Experienced tying on plastic chairs Assisting carpenters with technical formwork Must come with power tools and all hand tools Labourers Previous experience on a civil or commercial site Have had exposure to the following tasks Assisting carpenters Stripping formwork Oil shutters Waterblasting Prep work areas Tightening divvy bars Physically fit A great attitude and hard working Successful candidates look like Health and safety focused Pass regular drug and alcohol testing and criminal history check Prior experience of at least 1 year in the NZ building industry Provide 2 previous employer references of the civil carpentry work you have been involved with Must have a valid drivers license or valid passport for ID Must come with a valid Site Safe or Construct Safe Apply online or call Lila at Max People on 03 365 0088 About Max People Max People is New Zealands leading construction recruitment company Our vision is to empower construction industry personnel with career opportunities so that through growth and learning they can achieve their Max potential
