Carpenters - Wellington

Carpenters required throughout the Wellington region!OneStaff is seeking experienced Carpenters.
You should be reliable, motivated, and flexible, as work locations may vary across the country.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.Following safety rules and maintaining a safe, clean environment.Measuring and marking cutting lines on materials.Installing structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring, trim, or hardware.Verifying the trueness of structures using plumb bobs and levels.Building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures.Selecting and ordering lumber or other materials.Assembling and fastening materials using hand tools, screws, nails, dowels, or glue.Removing damaged parts and repairing or replacing them.Maintaining records and providing progress reports.Inspecting structures for damage.Erecting scaffolding or ladders for above-ground work.Finishing surfaces of woodwork or wallboards.Studying drawings and creating forms for concrete work.Creating structures or forms for concrete pouring.Coordinating with subcontractors for specialized work.Covering sub-floors and laying hardwood or similar floors.Filling cracks and defects, sanding patches.Applying paneling to ceilings or walls.Preparing cost estimates.Working with or removing hazardous materials.Performing minor plumbing, welding, or concrete work.Performing other duties as assigned.Pay: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: Minimum of 30 hours guaranteed.Skills and experience:At least 2.5 years of relevant carpentry experience or qualification.Friendly, punctual, and hardworking.Flexible to work in various locations nationwide.Committed to safety and continuous learning.Location: Multiple locations across New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, and Southland.This is a permanent, full-time role.
