Description
Carpenters required throughout the Waikato region!
OneStaff is seeking experienced Carpenters who are reliable and motivated.
Flexibility to work across various locations in the country is preferred.
Responsibilities include:

Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.
Following safety rules and maintaining a safe environment.
Measuring and marking materials for cutting.
Installing structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, flooring, and hardware.
Verifying structural trueness using plumb bobs and levels.
Building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, and other wooden fixtures.
Ordering and selecting lumber and materials.
Assembling and fastening materials to create frameworks or props.
Removing damaged parts and repairing structures.
Maintaining records and providing progress reports.
Inspecting structures for damage.
Erecting scaffolding or ladders.
Finishing woodwork or wall surfaces.
Studying drawings and creating forms for concrete work.
Creating structures or forms for concrete pouring.
Coordinating with subcontractors for specialized work.
Covering sub-floors and laying floors.
Filling cracks and defects, sanding patches.
Applying paneling.
Preparing cost estimates.
Handling hazardous materials safely.
Performing minor plumbing, welding, or concrete work.
Performing other duties as assigned.
Pay: $30.00 - $35.00 per hour depending on experience.
Hours: Minimum 30 hours guaranteed.
Skills & Experience:

At least 2.5 years of relevant carpentry experience or qualification.
Good time management, reliability, and work ethic.
Flexibility to work in various locations across New Zealand.
Commitment to safety and ongoing learning.
Location: Multiple locations across New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, and others.
This is a permanent, full-time role.
