Carpenters - Taranaki Region

Carpenters required throughout the Taranaki region!OneStaff is seeking experienced Carpenters.
You should be reliable, motivated, and flexible to work across various locations in New Zealand to assist with our projects.
Your duties include, but are not limited to:Shaping or cutting materials to specified measurements using hand tools, machines, or power saws.Following safety rules and maintaining a safe environment.Measuring and marking cutting lines on materials.Installing structures or fixtures such as windows, frames, floors, trim, or hardware.Verifying the trueness of structures using plumb bobs and levels.Building or repairing cabinets, doors, frameworks, floors, or other wooden fixtures.Selecting and ordering lumber or other materials.Assembling and fastening materials to create frameworks or props.Removing damaged parts and repairing structures.Maintaining records and reporting progress.Inspecting structures for damage or defects.Erecting scaffolding or ladders.Finishing woodwork or wall surfaces.Studying drawings and creating forms for concrete work.Creating forms or chutes for concrete pouring.Coordinating with subcontractors for specialized work.Covering subfloors and laying floors.Filling cracks and defects in plaster or plasterboard.Applying panelling for decoration or soundproofing.Preparing cost estimates.Handling hazardous materials safely.Performing minor plumbing, welding, or concrete work.Performing other duties as assigned.Pay rate: $30.00 to $35.00 per hour depending on experience.
Hours guaranteed: at least 30 hours per week.Skills and experience required:Minimum of 2.5 years of relevant experience or a relevant qualification.Good time management, work ethic, and friendliness.Flexibility to work nationwide.Willingness to learn and develop skills.Commitment to health and safety.Reliable and hardworking.Location: Multiple locations across New Zealand, including Northland, Auckland, Waikato, Bay of Plenty, Hawke's Bay, Taranaki, Gisborne, Manawatu-Whanganui, Wellington, Marlborough, Nelson-Tasman, Canterbury, West Coast, Otago, Southland.This is a permanent, full-time role.
