Carpenter Wanted

We are Wonderland Construction main from residential construction development Right now we are looking for several experienced Carpenters to join us We are welcome local people to work with us Here are the roles Study specifications in blueprints sketches or building plans to prepare project layout and determine dimensions and materials required Follow established safety rules and regulations and maintain a safe and clean environment Measure cut or shape timber plastic fiberglass and other materials Construct building frameworks including but not limited to wall studs floor joists and door frames Assemble and fasten materials to make framework using hand tools and wood screws nails dowel pins or glue Build or repair cabinets doors frameworks floors and other wooden fixtures used in buildings using woodworking machines carpenters hand tools and power tools Erect scaffolding and ladders for assembling structures above ground level Work on top of stilts ladders scaffold top beams of buildings etc Reporting to the Chargehand Carpenter and working as part of a team Here are the requirements for the role Understand building plans and drawings to determine materials dimensions and installation procedures Plan the ordering and selecting timbers and materials and preparing layouts Measure and cut materials to the right size and shape Assemble and nail the prepared wood parts to form structures and fittings At least 3 years related work experience Come in join us and please send CV to info wondrland net nz
