Carpenter (Journeyman)

Job Description

Journeyman carpenters must have previous carpentry experience, 6 years and more.
Duties and responsibilities:
Must have construction knowledge to read and interpret blueprints and plans, and determine how to build projects.

Must have excellent verbal communication skills to work as part of a collaborative construction crew, report to team leaders or supervisors and relay material needs to supply materials and inventory.
Ability to work indoors and out, in all weather conditions, while laying, bending, squatting, and stretching, which are tasks that require physical fitness.

Ability to take and record precise measurements preferably with math skills to estimate material needs for various buildings and construction projects.

Strong leadership and analytical skills are essential, with attention to detail and ability to determine how to build new structures and make repairs to existing ones.
