We're on the lookout for an inspirational Care Centre Manager who is enthusiastic about leading a foundational team of Nurses and Caregivers who require continuation of great leadership to provide quality care in our Care Centre.Located in Kenepuru, Porirua, this is a full-time role with working hours from Monday - Friday. On occasion you may be required on-call.Job Description: Role responsibilitiesReporting into the Village Manager, the Care Centre will be your domain. You'll effectively be the business lead, responsible for all staffing and budgeting. Other responsibilities of the role will include:Management and development of your direct reports with full accountability for all aspects of recruitment, coaching, performance and recognitionMaintain and build wholesome relationships with residents, their families and other stakeholders, including being primary point of contact for at times difficult situations.Support appropriate clinical decisions, including recognition of when it is appropriate to seek additional clinical input.Plan and co-ordinate audits, implementation of policy changes and liaison with NASC, DHB and other relevant external agenciesFoster an inviting team culture and drive collaboration across the villageQualifications: About youYour experience working in a clinical environment will have armed you with a strong knowledge of the care industry, including Te Whatu Ora standards. You'll have a genuine passion for driving team culture and making a positive impact on people's lives.
