The Hawkes Bay District Health Board are looking to significantly increase our relief team of Health Care Assistants.
The role of the Health Care Assistant is to deliver a high level of care within a team of extremely motivated, friendly and enthusiastic health professionals who are committed to delivering comprehensive quality care for our patients.
We are seeking experienced non-health professionals or support staff who will work under direction and delegation of a registered health professional.
You will get to work in all areas of the hospital and develop a wide range of skills and experience.
In order for you to be eligible for this role, you must have the following:
Experience caring for people in a similar role
The flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekends.
Proven customer service experience
A passion for people and the community
A genuine desire to help and support others
New Zealand Certificate in Health & Wellbeing (Level 3) or be working towards.
