Taranaki District Health Board is seeking a Clinical Cardiac Sonographer to join our team.
The Cardiology department provides a full range of diagnostic procedures including, Coronary angiography, Echocardiography (Adult and Paediatric), Holter, Event Recorder and Blood Pressure monitoring and analysis, Exercise Treadmill Tests, ECGs, Pulmonary Function Tests and Pacing.
The successful candidate for the position should:
Have the BSE, DMU or equivalent qualification that is recognised by the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology (SCT).
Be registered with the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technology Registration Board (CPRB) in NZ or in the process of registering.
Alternatively to the CPRB, can be registered with the Medical Radiation Technologists Board (MRTB) with a scope of practice being Cardiac Ultrasound.

We are looking for a Cardiac Sonographer who is proficient in all aspects in Echocardiography. The successful candidate will report to the Clinical Nurse Manager and Lead Sonographer in charge of the department and work along side the other Clinical Cardiac and Respiratory Physiologists, as well as other members of the cardiology team.
