The role includes standard ECG work, stress testing, Holter monitor fitting and reporting, cath lab work involving Angiography and Cardiac Catheterisation, Pacemaker and ICD insertions.Knowledge and experience with Pacemaker and device therapy are desired.The working hours are 64 to 80 hours per fortnight (0.8 FTE to 1.0 FTE), Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
Call may be required to cover acute cardiac catheter lab cases.
As we offer a district-wide service, you may be required to work at Wairau Hospital in Blenheim on occasions.About the Team/Service/LocationOur Cardiology team operates in a multi-disciplinary environment supporting cardiac diagnosis and interventions.

You will:Be a qualified and experienced Cardiac Clinical Physiologist (CCP)Hold current APC and registration with the Society of Cardiopulmonary Technicians (SCT) and Clinical Physiologists Registration Board (CPRB)Have eligibility and rights to work in NZWorking at Health New ZealandHealth New Zealand | Te Whatu Ora is dedicated to ensuring excellent healthcare for the people of New Zealand.
