Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity
Are you passionate about providing excellent customer service and ensuring smooth operations in public car parks?
Auckland Transport is looking for a dedicated and proactive individual to join our team as a Car Park Operations Support. In this role, you will be the frontline ambassador for Auckland Transport, assisting customers with their parking queries and managing day-to-day operations of public car parks.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage all day-to-day operations of public car parks on behalf of Auckland Transport.
* Assist customers with their parking queries and quickly resolve customer complaints and problems.
* Enforce time and vehicle restrictions in the mobility, P2, loading zone, scooter/motorcycle parking, and parent parking spaces.
* Effectively manage "car park full" procedures.
* Conduct routine daily checks, planned and reactive maintenance, and weekly building, environmental, and health & safety checks.
This is a permanent full-time opportunity working Tuesday 2pm - 10:30pm and Wednesday to Saturday 2:30pm - 11pm.

With a minimum of 2 years' experience in a customer facing role, you will enjoy engaging with our customers, making every interaction count.
Our ideal candidate will have:
* A valid full NZ drivers licence and be a competent and safe driver
* Basic computer skills, especially in MS Office applications such as Word, Excel, and Outlook.
* Basic numerical skills.
* Highly organised with excellent planning and prioritisation skills.
* Sound written and oral communication skills.
* High attention to detail and accuracy.
