We are looking for a Cafe Manager who is a highly organised, efficient and customer service extraordinaire to join our passionate team.
The Role
Reporting to the Café Manager you will be responsible for working in our beautiful café;
•ensuring the smooth operation of the café.
managing staff
providing exceptional customer service
creating coffees of the highest standard and serving meals and beverages
assisting with the planning and executing of functions and catering
Reporting to director
The perfect person for this role would have these qualities;
passionate about producing great coffee and food
outstanding customer service and sells
extremely well organised with great time management
the enthusiasm with drive and passion
out-going with excellent people skills and a positive attitude
effective communicator
proactive & an excellent problem solver
ability to think logically and follow processes
a team player with the ability to lead and motivate a team
The position is a full-time role and the successful applicant must be flexible with hours and be able to work weekends and some evenings.
This position is very much a hands-on role and requires you to work in the café on a daily basis.
Experience some in hospitality is essential, along with a fantastic attitude and exceptional customer service skills! A General Managers Certificate or qualifications Business management level the ability to obtain one is also essential.
In addition, you’ll also be •Savvy with food hygiene, health and safety in the cafe•Clean criminal records or police records•Eligibility to work in New Zealand •must Business management level or A food safety certificate •Able to work flexible hours including weekends •must leadership experience •Must New Zealand car licence or own car.
