Café Assistant

We are looking for 1 Casual Café Assistant to join our busy team at Muffin Break Bayfair, Tauranga to cover weekday, late night and weekend shifts. This position could turn into a permanent job as winter trade increases.

Shifts begin between 7.15am-9.45am and finish between 3.30pm-6.15pm (8.30pm on Thursdays and Fridays). We are seeking applications from people who have flexibility to work a range of hours on both weekdays and weekends.

Experience preferred but not essential - We are seeking enthusiastic, hardworking and friendly people who enjoy working in a fast paced and fun environment. A passion for food, customer service and coffee is a MUST.

The ideal candidate will be someone who is able to use initiative, is proactive and hardworking, outgoing, friendly and a strong team player

* has a genuine interest in food and coffee
* Previous experience as a barista preferred, but not essential.
* has strong customer service skills and believe in building good customer relationships
* are willing to learn and listen to instructions
* has a passion for coffee and good food
* MUST be able to work weekends
* reliable transport
* relevant baking/food prep skills a benefit

Full training will be given for this position which involves both in store work and online training.
