C- Fabricator And Onsite Remedial Builder

This is a dynamic role that involves fabricating tasks and remedial building with no one day the same!   Tasks: Fabrication  - Cutting framing components using automated, semi-automated, manual saws including: bottom and top plates, door and window components, studs (including raking) beams and nogs - Fabrication of frames with nail guns, mechanical nailing machine or hammer Cutting and fabricating trusses - Cutting truss cords, webs, sundries and rafters using either automated, semi-automated r manual saws - Setting up pressing of main jack trusses, using a hydraulic, pneumatic or manual press system - Set up pressing of posi-structs  - Fabrication of frames and trusses requires attention to detail as details need to be checked against drawings    Onsite remedial - Travelling to site with provided company vehicle to complete remedial tasks as directed by head detailer or production manager - All remedial building work must comply with NZ building standards - Transport additional timber frames and trusses   - Comply with health and safety requirements on site  - Work in with site contacts and builders    What you need: - Previous experience in Frame and Truss fabrication  - Previous experience in residential construction  - Fully qualified builder - Current site safe - this can be done by us - Full class one license  - Good communication, reliability, written and listening skills and have the ability to work unsupervised - Forklift license is beneficial but not essential   - Ability to pass a pre employment drug test     Rates dependent on experience   All PPE provided
