New World Hastings in Hawkes Bay is currently looking for a Full time Butchery Assistant/Meat Packer to join our Butchery Team. This is a permanent position and approximately 24 hours per week with one day at the weekend. Our Butchery department boasts a large range of fresh local and imported butchery products. The serve over displays and range set us apart from other supermarket butcheries. If you previous fresh food experience with knife skills, or you have butchery experience then this could the position for you.
The ideal applicant will have
Great Customer Service
Ability to Prioritise and multitask
Physically fit, (can lift up to 20kg)
Understands Food compliance requirements
Basic knowledge of butchery products
Basic written and spoken English and Maths
Eye for detail
Unit 167 preferred but not essential
