Work Location and Vacancy details   Taranaki Region Position: Butcher Permanent Positions, Full-time (guaranteed 30 hours/per week, rostering from Monday to Sunday) Number of Vacancies: 10 Butchers Tasks & responsibilities ·      Preparing meat for sale and supply by removing bones, trimming fat and cutting, mincing and grinding meat to shape and size according to customer specifications ·      Operating meat processing machines to grind, mix and tenderise meat ·      Sharpening and maintaining knives and other butchery equipment ·      May assist in carrying out stocktakes of meat supplies ·      May assist in grading, packing and weighing meat ·      Cleaning and sanitising the butchery area and equipment ·      Following the industry and company's safety and quality control guidelines  What do you need? ·      At least 3 years of relevant work experience or a relevant NZQF Level 4 qualification or above Good eye for detail and an ability to learn fast A "can-do" attitude Efficient and be able to follow instructions Benefits Work with a great team that focuses on delivering excellence Reputable company that truly values what you contribute Good pay between $29.66 - $30.00 per hour depending on your personal abilities If you are interested in the role, please apply here now.
