Business Performance Analyst

C3 Ltd provide value add solutions to our clients businesses by leveraging our industry experience and our international ownership through LINX Cargo Group and Brookfield Asset Management. We are a market leader in port related product and cargo handling in New Zealand and Australia employing 1400+ staff with an annual turnover of $200 million.
Reporting to the Business Performance Manager this role is based at our harbourside office and supports the Forestry team with financial analysis and reporting.
Key objectives of this role cover a range of finance functions including;
Budgeting and forecasting
Commercial analysis
Management accounting and reporting
Capital expenditure and business case development
Profitability analysis and improvement
Decision making support through analysis and ad hoc support
The ideal candidate will have well-formed communication skills to quickly establish credibility and respect at all levels from operational staff through to branch and senior level management as well as C3 customers.
What you will need to succeed;
Relevant commercial/accounting degree
Minimum of 3 years Management Accounting experience
Sound knowledge and understanding of ERP and accounting systems
Business analysis and Capital expenditure analysis
Familiarity with KPI’s and using them to monitor and manage operations
Sound organizational and effective time management skills
Commercial Acumen to understand our business and consider impacts of decision making
