ABOUT THE ROLE
The Business Insight & Analytics Specialist role is to support the Business Insight & Analytics team as it delivers on its mission to improve the company's Business Insight and Analytics capability.
Specifically, you will help with the design and implementation of Business Insights and Analytics solutions by working closely with the global user community, and improving the analytics capability through education and training around how to use data to achieve business outcomes.
DUTIES
Support, direct, organize, and lead projects in the implementation and use of new BI, data and Insights software tools and systems.

Develop reports, and report definitions.

Develop graphs and portal interfaces.

Working with business and development teams to design and document dashboards, alerts and reports.

Assist in the design of databases and data warehouses to ensure interoperability with BI solutions.

Work closely with the BI BA to analyse user requirements and, based on findings, design functional specifications for BI front-end applications

Owner of "business approved" standard reports

Report scheduling, notification, and publication

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Relevant degree or diploma in the field of Computer Science, Information Systems

Comprehensive data warehouse analysis and design experience with full knowledge of data warehouse methodologies

Expertise in Power BI

Experience with tier one applications, databases and data warehouses such as MS SQL Server, Crystal, SAP, SCM

Expertise in Business Object tools such as Scheduler, Designer, Data Integrator and BO Universe Design
