EIT requires a fixed term (12 months) Business Improvements Analyst, to ensure internal and external reporting relating to the organisations recruitment and student performance is provided as required by EIT or external organisations.The appointing salary for this role will be between $71,197 and $84,501, dependent on skills and experience.The Business Improvement Analyst is based in our Portfolio and Performance Team | Te Pukenga reporting to the Executive Director, Portfolio and Performance and will be responsible for:System Support & Maintenance: Provide comprehensive support and troubleshooting for EIT's academic administration systems (SWAT, Artena, Aplus+, Revive), ensuring system integrity and performance.Data Analysis & Reporting: Conduct detailed analysis of student management and performance data, producing accurate and timely internal and statutory reports.Technical Expertise: Maintain and upgrade student management systems, ensuring compliance with government policies and regulations, and liaising with vendors for system enhancements.Communication & Collaboration: Engage with EIT staff and external stakeholders, providing technical advice, system information, and participating in relevant meetings and user groups.To be successful in this role you will have:Educational Background & Experience: A degree in a relevant discipline with significant experience in business analysis, data analytics, and business intelligence within medium to large organizations, particularly in vocational education and data management.Technical & Analytical Expertise: Proficiency in SQL, PowerBI, Excel, and SSRS, with advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Ability to understand organizational performance drivers and operational processes, and experience with reporting tools.Interpersonal & Organizational Skills: Strong ability to work effectively with people at all levels, gaining cooperation and support.
Outstanding planning and organizational skills, with the ability to evaluate information and identify opportunities for improvement.Adaptability & Professionalism: Adaptable and flexible, with a thorough, detail-oriented approach.
Demonstrates initiative, drive, and commitment to achieving objectives.
