You'll identify and build strategic partnerships, spearhead market-responsive initiatives, and develop innovative marketing strategies.
Your work will directly expand our revenue streams and enhance our reputation across business, government, iwi, and global networks.Salary will be based on skills, knowledge and experience brought to the position.
This is a permanent, full-time role (37.5 hours a week), based on our Hillcrest Campus in Hamilton.For more information on the role please see the position description.

- Who are you?You'll be a confident business development professional with:A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, education or a closely related field, or equivalent experience.At least 5 years' experience in business development, ideally within tertiary education, executive learning, or organisational development.A strong record of revenue generation, partnership management and innovative market engagement.Excellent communication, negotiation and presentation skills.Strategic thinking, commercial acumen and the drive to deliver measurable outcomes.Understanding of and respect for Maori and Pacific cultures, and a commitment to the University's partnership with Maori as intended by the Treaty of Waitangi.Research shows that some people are less likely to apply for jobs unless they meet every qualification.
