Due to the continued growth of our team, we're looking for a Business Development Manager (BDM) for New Zealand to join our exceptional team and help us drive sales and cultivate strong relationships with our B2B trade partners.Position Purpose:As the BDM for New Zealand, you will play a pivotal role in driving our brand's success in the region.
Your mission will be to maximise sales potential by building and nurturing strong relationships with our trade partners.
You'll be the face of Uniworld, promoting our unique brand and luxurious experiences.
This role offers a fantastic opportunity for growth and development, allowing you to manage the entire New Zealand territory with a focus on Auckland.
You'll have the autonomy to run the territory like your own business, making strategic decisions to drive success.Key Responsibilities:Develop and implement sales plans with key trade partners and accounts.Achieve pre-agreed revenue and engagement targets.Manage relationships with key stakeholders across consortia and external partners.Provide regular training opportunities for agents through various sessions and strategies.Actively seek out and foster group business, maintaining contact from initiation to departure.Attend and participate in retail partner conferences and Uniworld fam trips.Submit accurate monthly sales reports and maintain records in Salesforce.Manage territory budget and co-op marketing funds effectively.Education & Experience:Minimum NCEA or equivalent.Full driver's licence is essential.Understanding of the luxury cruise segment is desirable but not required.Skills & Competencies:Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.Strong sales and marketing planning abilities.Strong client relationship building and networking skills.Results-focused with a strong service attitude.Self-motivated, energetic, and organised.Proficient in Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, and Teams.Work Environment:The majority of time spent visiting travel partners.Flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as required.Regular regional travel with overnight stays.Interstate and overseas travel for conferences and famils.Flexible and inclusive work culture.Free travel benefits and great learning and development opportunities.What's in it for You?Travel Benefits: FOC annual cruise benefit, plus generous domestic and international travel discounts for you, your family, and friends.Family Support: 12 weeks of paid parental leave for eligible employees.Team Engagement: Enjoy two team engagement days per year to connect with colleagues.Volunteer Opportunities: Two days of paid leave annually to support causes you're passionate about.Inclusive Culture: Join a welcoming team in a flexible work environment with regular social and networking events.
