As the Business Development Manager, 20% of you time will you be allocated to looking after some existing accounts, with 80% of you time spent in developing the Bay of Plenty, Waikato region and increasing market share. You will be responsible for the BOP/Waikato region, acting as the ambassador, building appropriate commercial relationships to support the businesses expansion.DutiesMaintain working relationship with existing customers with respect to regular service reviews and audits where required.
Proactive account management and new business development;
Achieve set sales objectives,
Provide input and feedback in support of the marketing and branding strategy in conjunction with the National Sales and Marketing Manager;
Ensure highest levels of client service and continually enhance the reputation of the company;
Monthly sales reporting and ensuring robust systems are in place.
Skills & experienceYou will be customer focused, be able to nurture current accounts and build new relationships within the market;
Strategic thinker with an eye for future opportunities;
Well-developed time management skills with an ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously and be self-driven;
Proven sales background in service industry;
Experience working in the health sector will be viewed favourably;
Strong ability to articulate value in terms of ROI,
Strong written and verbal communication, ability to communicate in a clear and convincing manner;
Strong focus on systems and processes;
Financial and commercial acumen skills to support the value proposition.
Ability to communicate within the market at a number of different levels.
