Capital City Ford has recently launched the Ford Link, a brand-new, state-of-the-art premises in the PwC Centre and we are now seeking an experienced Business Development Manager. This is a fantastic opportunity to drive our sales growth within the Wellington business community. Our ideal candidate is a sales superstar and someone who is dedicated to exceeding expectations.

The role:

Your primary objective is to find and secure new clients whilst fostering long-term, sustainable relationships. To do this successfully you will:

-Prospect, appoint and win new Ford sales accounts
-Build and manage long term relationships with the accounts you win
-Be active within Wellington business networking events
-Generate leads through your own networks, referrals and cold calling
-Work closely with our dealership staff to build sustainable solutions for your clients

This is a full-time position; Monday – Friday 8:30am – 5:30pm. Due to the nature of the business these hours may vary from time to time with appropriate notice given.

What we are looking for:

-Ideally 2+ years in the any of following roles: B2B, sales, business development, account management, relationship management
-Excellent communication skills
-Previous sales experience is preferred
-Ability to work autonomously
-Time management and organisation skills
-Strong Microsoft Office skills
-Well-presented and professional
