About the business Davey Water Products has built its reputation as a local Kiwi hero over decades of protecting and enhancing peoples lives through water across some of the toughest environments here and around the globe Acqua by Davey is the water treatment specialist division of Davey providing quality engineered solutions throughout NZ Acqua by Davey has implemented multiple projects across various industries and is developing a strong brand known for quality solutions and customer satisfaction About the role To develop and implement an effective marketing strategy for assigned areaIdentification of key customers suppliers and potential partners to complement growthLiaison with the Engineering and project management team to ensure successful delivery of projects and customer satisfactionMaintenance of customer relations throughout project lifecycle to ensure communication is effectiveMarket research in to emerging markets trends and opportunities for business growthMonitor and report on sales targets forecasts and budget within area of responsibility and recommend actions appropriate to maximising resultsMaintain familiarity with market conditions risks and threats within area and work with the Business Manager to formulate area objectives and strategic plans Maintenance of business tools such as salesforce to ensure reports are accurate and timelyProvide Sales Technical support to customers in the region Benefits and perks Great company Great opportunities water treatment Great People Skills and experience The successful candidate will be a strong business developer with a proven track record within the water treatment sector Candidates will be experienced in sales and key relationships management and drive to deliver sales budgets In addition we are seeking the following personal attributes Strong commercial acumen and happy to support a culture of teamwork strength of character to make cold calls to support general business development Proven ability to recognise market opportunities and create pathways to success through different channels Excellent communication skills and the ability to develop sound and enduring business relationships some key account management would be an advantage A highly motivated with a can do approach together with potential to step up in the future Sound planning and prioritisation capabilities
