This is a 12-month, fixed-term, full-time position supporting andmanaging a key project aimingto introduce a district-wide Allied Health telehealth stepped care service.
Nelson MarlboroughHealth (NMH) is always endeavouring to improve the way services are deliveredto our community. In extending the use of telehealth for clinical appointments,the need to improve the efficiencies of booking, scheduling, and integratinginformation has increased. This role will work to improve the booking andscheduling process for telehealth services across the organisation, as well asto work specifically with the Allied Health service to improve their processes.Increased demand is evident across the system, with NMH Allied Health servicesaveraging 1000 referrals a month, of which an average of 630 are from generalpractice and specialist hospital-based services.
You will beworking closely with members of the Allied Health, Clinical IT, and Telehealthteams, both locally and nationally.
Allied Healthservices are integral to delivering acute care and rehabilitation services forour community. Allied Health incorporates physiotherapy, occupational therapy,speech and language therapy, audiology, nutrition and dietetics, social work,clinical psychology, and orthotics.

Youwill preferably have:
Knowledgeof IT and telehealth video conferencing systems (e.g. Zoom).
Atertiary qualification in a relevant clinical or management discipline.
IIBAor similar professional certification.
Aproject management qualification (e.g. PRINCE2 or Agile) and project managementdelivery experience.
Healthsector experience e.g. working in DHB/ Health/ DSS system.
Telehealthexperience would be advantageous.
