Business Analyst - Planning, Oversight and Performance Fantastic new opportunity within MPI's New Zealand Food Safety Business Unit supporting the reporting, performance measurement and planning functions of the Business Unit.

About the Role
This newly created Business Analyst role has been developed to support the Business Unit in it project, planning and reporting requirements, and act as a key coordination point for these activities across the Business Unit. The role sits within the Planning Team which is one of two functional teams sitting within our Planning, Oversight and Performance team.
You will be working within a team to deliver business analysis services and you will have the opportunity to work on new and interesting projects. You will enjoy working in a collaborative and forward thinking way and have the ability to build strong relationships with a variety of people, be results focused, and be able to work in a fast moving, agile environment.
To be successful in this role you will have the following skills and attributes:

Relevant technical/professional experience
Experience in planning and delivering in an operational, regulatory environment
Excellent relationship management skills
Experience in analysing technical issues
Excellent written and verbal communication skills

About the Team
The Planning, Oversight & Performance Team are a Business Unit shared service that plans, develops, measures, reports and improves the process and procedures across the system for the New Zealand Food Safety Business Unit and the wider Ministry. We ensure the activities of the Business Unit are clearly aligned to the Ministry's strategy and core deliver systems and provide thought leadership for the business.
The Planning Team works closely with the New Zealand Food Safety Business Unit. As a newly created role it is a great opportunity to get roll up your sleeves and make a real difference.
